Twisted Sisters 

We are always on the look out for something new and beautiful and functional.  We think we found it with these two family owned companies, both of whom create serving pieces for the table top.

Inspired Generations makes salad bowls and utensils from highly polished aluminum.  We know that there are other similar products on the market but none as lovely as these pieces--and they are made in America.  Robin, the owner and creator states, "Our mission is pure and simple:  To design and manufacture beautiful, high quality products that bring smiles into the lives of others!"  We think she has done that.

The other company is Basic Spirit.  They are located in the tiny village of Pugwash, Nova Scotia.  Basic Spirit uses a high quality pewter to create a variety of serving pieces and jewelry--everything from cheese boards to bottle openers to necklaces.  They donate a portion of their profits to various charitable organizations.
